Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pockli Scan ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Romvalor S.R.L., a company registered in Romania, European Union ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Use of the App

Pockli Scan is provided as a document scanning and organization tool for personal use. You are responsible for any content you scan, import, or store using the App.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Pockli Scan to scan, store, or distribute content that is illegal, infringes on third-party intellectual property rights, or violates applicable laws. You also agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or attempt to access its source code. You may not use the App to create a competing product or service.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, branding, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Romvalor S.R.L. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Your use of the App does not grant you any ownership rights. The documents you scan and store remain yours — we claim no rights over your content.

Purchases

Pockli Scan offers a free tier and an optional Pockli Scan Pro upgrade. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the app's premium features permanently — there is no subscription and no recurring charge. Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store and billed to your Apple ID.

Because Pro is a one-time purchase, there is nothing to renew or cancel. If you reinstall Pockli Scan or set up a new device, you can restore your purchase at any time from within the app using your Apple ID, at no additional cost. Purchases made under Pockli Scan's earlier plans remain valid and continue to unlock Pro.

Refunds

Since all payments are processed by Apple, refund requests must be submitted through Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pockli Scan is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not responsible for any loss of data, documents, or other damages arising from the use of the App. We recommend maintaining independent backups of important documents.

In no event shall Romvalor S.R.L. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

You may stop using Pockli Scan at any time by deleting the App from your device. Since Pockli Scan operates entirely on your device with no accounts or server connections, your documents remain under your control at all times.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Romania. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights under applicable EU law.

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please stop using the App.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Romvalor S.R.L. regarding the use of Pockli Scan and supersede any prior agreements.
